Finance Manager – Role Overview
The Finance Manager is primarily responsible for reviewing purchaser credit applications, securing financing options, and ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards. This role supports both dealership operations and corporate financial health by managing accounts receivable processes, legal matters, and financing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financing & Credit
  • Obtain and review purchaser credit applications.
  • Submit finance applications to lending institutions and secure financing.
  • Provide written credit approvals to sales representatives.
  • Deliver accurate finance documentation to customers and review with them.
  • Ensure all finance documents are legally compliant and properly executed.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with finance partners and sources.
  • Secure funding for all financed deals.
  • Review and evaluate dealer agreements with potential finance sources.

Accounts Receivable

  • Review and approve charge account applications.
  • Set up approved charge accounts in CDK.
  • Monitor and collect on past due accounts, including making collection calls.
  • Place delinquent accounts on COD and manage the daily COD list.
  • Provide monthly COD updates to all managers and Hissong Group Inc. (HGI).
  • Update managers monthly on PACCAR national account statuses.
  • Invoice dealerships for accounts receivable services.
  • Establish working relationships with dealership parts and service teams.

Financial Reporting & Administration

  • Review and pay all Brokers Investment Corporation invoices. Provide
  • Provide monthly financial statements to Hissong Group.
  • Approve attorney invoices.
  • Coordinate legal matters and serve as a liaison with legal counsel.
  • Represent Hissong Group in court proceedings.
  • Respond to legal matters not requiring legal counsel, such as BBB complaints.
  • Keep the HGI President informed of ongoing legal issues.

Employee Background Checks

  • Request insurability confirmation from the insurance carrier for prospective employees.
  • If insurable, initiate criminal background checks.
  • Share findings with the requesting manager and sign off on hiring forms.
