DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and
audit payroll using various software systems (ADP proficiency preferred),
ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review and
verify the accuracy of employee timesheets.
- Manage payroll
data entry and maintain accurate employee records.
- Administer
direct deposit requests and process paper checks for distribution.
- Secure
necessary approvals and ensure timely payroll disbursement.
- Process and
monitor wage garnishments in accordance with legal requirements.
- Calculate and
implement pay adjustments related to raises, bonuses, and commissions.
- Ensure
compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, including timely
tax remittances.
- Collect,
verify, and record employee attendance and hours worked.
- Compute wages,
deductions, and other payroll-related calculations.
- Investigate and
resolve employee payroll discrepancies efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and
transmit direct deposits securely.
- Contribute to
the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and tax
reports.
- Manage office
mail, including pickup, sorting, and distribution.
- Maintain a
clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
- Ensure the
kitchen and lunchroom are well-stocked and organized, including daily coffee
preparation and meeting support.
- Handle highly
confidential corporate information with discretion and communicate
appropriately within authorized limits.
- Adhere to all
company accounting and procedural guidelines as outlined in the Employee
Handbook.
- Abide by the
Company Drug Free Policy.
